Regular Lipstick
A regular lipstick is made by suspending coloured pigments in a base of petroleum-derived emollients such as paraffin oils, waxes along with texturising agents such as silicones, and other form-imparting fillers. This list of additives is even longer for additional claims such as ‘non-transferable’, ‘long-lasting’ etc. They just enhance the sensorial and the texture of the product but have no nutritional value for lips.
How long lasting are lipsticks?
We do not use film formers or any other unnecessary chemical ingredients to make the long-lasting claim, however, most users have reported that these lipsticks stay on for at least 4-6 hours without the need to reapply.
Are the lipsticks smudge proof?
No, the lipsticks are not smudge proof as they are free from chemical additives such as petrochemicals, silicones, synthetic film-formers & parabens, which just enhance the texture and long stay of the lipsticks but have no nutritional value for lips. We followed the ‘less is more’ approach and cut out unnecessary ingredients from the formula while making them as wholesome as possible without compromising on the ‘glam’ factor.
